Trying to organize and get dinner together is always our biggest challenge. I have found two key things that keep us on track. One is keeping the fridge cleaned out, and buying our meat bulk on sale and repackaging it in ziplock or other baggies. When I am feeling overwhelmed by what to figure out for dinner – if no leftovers are available I will at least have meat that I can thaw out the night before. Here is my latest hunt. This will last us for 4-5 weeks, stretching the meat to several meals. We eat alot of salad. Meat is so much less expensive buying in bulk. Have to save ahead and buy for the month which can kill a budget at the first go around–but once you are on a monthly schedule it makes all the difference.
